Beth Kaufman
As a member of the National Golf Foundations Association of
Golf Educators, Beth has enjoyed teaching the mental side of golf to her
students. Along with receiving the MVP award from University of South Florida,
she created the "USF Scholarship Foundation Tournament" to benefit women in
golf. She received The Title IX Conference USA Award; was instrumental in
creating The Foundation Fighting Blindness tournament in the Tampa Area; has won
many Championships and was the winner of the Betty Kirby Putting Award.
Beth Kaufman had an outstanding career in Amateur golf in
the Washington
DC
and South Florida areas.
Upon retirement from competition she designed and built a beautiful nine
hole par 3 golf course/practice facility.
She developed this wonderful Golf
Center primarily for beginners, physically
challenged, kids and seniors. “Ms Beth’s” style of teaching, which emphasizes
having fun has turned many people into lifetime lovers of golf.
This is the true measure of a teaching professional.
Gary Burdick
Gary Burdick is a unique combination of golf teacher,
scientist and player. Not only has
he shot many competitive scores in the 60’s, and has had 8 hole in ones, he can
explain scientifically how it happened.
His knowledge of geometry, physics, anatomy, psychology and how they
apply to golf is unparalleled.
He will not teach on a one-on-one basis unless
the student is exceptionally intrigued and/or interested in his method.
What he is willing to do is impart his vast knowledge via the internet
through lectures and he will answer questions from interested and motivated
participants.
Our new website, TeachYourselfGolf.net, is
currently under construction.
The overview is that once a student acquires certain
knowledge he or she will be able to essentially teach themselves how to perform
through meaningful and educated practice.
Dan Brantingham
Dan Brantingham, restaurateur “extraordinaire” has
collaborated with Gary Burdick for over 27 years.
Dan’s knowledge of our golf concepts is extensive.
He trained his son, Matt from the age of two years old with this unique
technique. Matt is currently a Senior at
Division I, William and Mary College and has had a successful golf
career.
To watch Matt strike a golf ball with a martial arts-like
blend of speed, power and control is a thing to behold.
Matt hopes to begin a career in professional golf in the fall of 2007.
Dan will be an integral part of TeachYourselfGolf.net.
